A pack is five flat panels, some webbing and a handful of buckles. Set the box you want and this bench works the rest out — every panel at its cut size with seam allowance, how it nests on a roll of fabric, what the whole thing will weigh before you thread a machine, and the order to sew it in.

Cut list
Every piece at its cut size — finished dimension plus 12 mm seam allowance on each seamed edge. Cut with a hot knife or seal the edges; woven nylon frays from the moment you look at it.

Weight empty, estimated
Fabric area times its weight per square metre, plus the tape, the buckles and the foam. Real packs land a little over this — binding, bartacks and thread all count.
Build order
Sew it in this order and every seam stays reachable. Get it wrong and you will be stitching the last one from inside a finished bag.
